The world suddenly becomes unfamiliar to Clementine Walters when metaphorical flowers start to take root in her ears, taking away her ability to hear.

A short snippet of a paranormal mystery that involves finding friendship even when one person isn’t quite part of the corporal world anymore and learning to accept the inevitable loss that comes with losing someone you love. Naomi Lane is working a late shift at the library one night when she discovers a set of keys belonging to her coworker and sort-of friend, Beckett Wright, who went mysteriously missing a month ago and hasn’t returned since. Her discovery leads her down to an ancient crypt beneath the library where a much more sinister mystery is brewing.
